Downtown Cincinnati Ohio Photo Walk
General Information:
Like all of our photo walks this is both a learning experience and a great chance for you to create amazing images. Your guide for this photo walk will be one of our instructors who will happily answer your photography questions throughout the photo walk. The instructor will have multiple photo opportunities planned as well as reviews/instructions for each photo opportunity.

- John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge (The Suspension Bridge).
- Great American Ballpark.
- Paul Brown Stadium.
- Street performers.
- Cityscapes of the Newport KY and/or Newport KY.
- People (Street Photography).
- Sawyer Point.
- The Serpentine Wall.
- Lytle Park.
- Historic Cincinnati buildings.
- Washington Park.
- The Taft Museum of Art.
- Horse drawn carriages.
- Boats on the Ohio River.
- Mt. Adams skyline.
- Buildings from the 1800s and 1900s.
- Fountain Square.
- A lesson and demonstration of how to use Slow Sync. Flash to create portraits with a city in the background (both the subject and background properly exposed).
- Urban portrait locations.
- The Cincinnati River Front.
- Many more!
Recommended Equipment:
Nothing is required except a camera and lens.
A dSLR (digital SLR) camera or mirror-less interchangeable lens camera.
Tripod (especially if you class is in the evening or during sunrise.
At least one lens. Bringing multiple lenses is a great idea. We have had students use lenses ranging from an 8mm fish-eye to 400mm telephoto and everything in between. The most common lenses range from 18mm to 200mm for this locations. We feel that you can create great photos with just about any lens on this photo walk.
A remote shutter release.
A flash if you have one.
Polarizing and/or graduated neutral density filter.
Flashlight if your walk is scheduled for evening/night.
Pen & small notebook to take notes.
Comfortable shoes or boots.

We use multiple location in downtown Cincinnati for photography classes, workshops and photo walks, this photo walks will be meeting in front of the Aronoff Center for the Arts at 650 Walnut St, Cincinnati, OH 45202 (the corner of East 7th Street and Walnut Street 45202).
